Pocket and sign to honour Kevin

April 05, 2017

A sign has been made to acknowledge Kevin Nolan's 465 games for the Goorambat Football and Netball Club.

Goorambat Football and Netball Club stalwart Kevin Nolan has been honoured at his home ground.

On Saturday past president of the club Mark Skilbeck addressed those attending the games and spoke about Nolan’s games record, how he is the curator of the grounds, his wife Gay and her support of the club along with their daughter Stacey and sons Clint and Travers.

The Moyhu senior footballers along with the Goorambat players and the field umpires stood and listened to the speech before their game.

The pocket of the ground where the sign has been placed will be know as the Kevin Nolan pocket.
