Last week at the bowls club saw Tuesday’s Traders Day with visiting teams from Euroa, Eildon, Shepparton Golf, and Swanpool.

The day had 12 teams playing four games of 12 ends in two-bowl triples. Winners on the day were K. Sutcliffe, E. Sellinger and J. Grost with four wins plus 39.

Runners-up were J. Stevens, G. Lessing and J. Peake.

Also on Tuesday was the ladies’ two bowl triples sponsored day.

The competition saw 12 teams of triples, with visiting teams from Euroa, Mansfield, Swanpool and Myrtleford.

Winners with four wins plus 51 were B. Binks, C. Chuke and M. Felmingham. Runners-up were S. Warfe, G. Banfield and L. Armstrong.

Wednesday’s Open Jackpot Triples saw 60 players making up 20 teams of triples, played in the club’s regular open jackpot triples.

Winner on the day was T. Armstrong’s team with two wins plus nine shots up. Runners-up were D. Blyss, H. Dartman and E. Tomkins.

Friday’s bowling action saw 18 teams in pairs play in the club’s regular Friday jackpot pairs.

Winners with a plus 14 were J. Lia and P. Roberts. Runners-up were R. and J. Bezzet.

Saturday’s action saw eight teams play in two games of three-bowls pairs in the club’s open social day.

Winners on the day were S. Robertson and B. Robertson with two wins, plus 16. Runners-up were M. Tilbury and R. Rigby.

Last Monday’s action saw three games of eight ends of triples played. Winners were V. Hagg, B. Mollison and Jack Lemin with three wins plus 10 shots.

Runners-up were D. McIntyre, G. Green and L. Watson.

Senior Citizens’ Bowls

Last Tuesday’s bowls winners were M. Empey (s), J. Landewee, N. DeBuck and L. Levy.

Runners-up were M. DeBuck (s), G. Hernan, H. Harper, and R. Harper.

Friday’s Numurkah visit winners were V. King (s), R. Waterworth, R. Mullavey and S. Kennedy.

Runners-up were F. Wright (s), J. Stuart, S. Lemmer and J. Graham.

Saturday’s winners were M. Empey (s), L. Scholz and M. Williams. Runners-up were D. Matthews (s), J. Landewee and A. Morris.
