Owain Boyle and Connor Breheny represented Benalla Basketball Association at Basketball Victoria Country’s Jamboree event, hosted by Echuca on Saturday, September 21.

Boyle and Breheny spent four days learning and playing alongside other talented junior country basketball players, with the aim of improving their skills.

Alongside the two boys, Benalla coaches Shane Riley, Michelle Pastuszka and Amy Nicholas were also selected as coaches for the Jamboree.

The trio also attended academy training and skills day events, which will come in handy for Riley and Nicholas, as they will be assistant coaches with the North East Bushrangers this season.

Benalla Basketball Association said the three coaches had "put in tireless hours away from family for the game they love" as they looked to help inspire and encourage players, so to develop their skills and advance through the basketball pathways was great acknowledgement.
